Shifting Sand

Sometimes we need to just silence those voices that have shaped the way we think and feel about things (especially pertaining to the Word of God).

We build whole theologies on the way certain people have interpreted Scripture, and before we know it we are taking their word for His Word as gospel truth.

This can be dangerous.

Ultimately the words we speak have to fall in line with Scripture (no matter how eloquently said words are spoken).
